We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing a new book for Adventures Dark and Deep™ by BRW Games: Adventures Dark and Deep Basic Player Guide.

This is a pared-down version of the rules for those who want something a bit more accessible than the wonderfully dense tome that is the Adventures Dark and Deep Players Manual. All the rules are compatible with the full game, but simplified and in an easier to read format.

Adventures Dark and Deep answers the question of what the second edition of the world’s most popular fantasy RPG would have looked like if Gary Gygax had not been kicked out of his first company and still had creative control. The new Adventures Dark and Deep Basic Players Guide now asks, what if that mythical second edition was used as the basis of the “Basic” branch of that popular fantasy RPG?

The new Adventures Dark and Deep Basic Players Guide is perfect for:

• Existing Adventures Dark and Deep players who want a lighter to carry and easier to read version of the rules
• People interested in “old-school” gaming but want a less daunting entry point
